Montana Gluten Free Organic Raw Oatmeal is the only organic raw oatmeal produced in North America. Our oats have wonderful flavor, more nutrition and longer shelf life than conventional wet-milled, pre-cooked oatmeal. Most oatmeal manufacturers have to steam the oats to remove the hulls, then roll or cut it, and finally heat it again to remove all of the moisture. As our oats are naturally hulless, we do not have to do anything to them before we dry roll them. No steaming, steeping, or cooking is required in our unique process. The natural enzymes are live and our product is deliciously one of a kind!
Our PrOatina oat variety of naked oat (avena Nuda sp.) was selected for high protein; our protein is 3 to 4% higher than other oats, usually near 20% protein. Montana Gluten Free Organic Raw Oatmeal test null on both ELISA G12 and R5 tests.
In a recent focus group study of celiacs who were not eating oats, either because of fear or due to having had previous reactions to other gluten free oats, over 95% had no problem with our oatmeal and have added PrOatina Oat products to their diets.
